NZ$ 19
Toasted sesame bun, crispy bacon, salty hash brown, runny egg and hollandaise — the plate people come back for.

A bright Camp Street cafe for tour-bus mornings and slow breakfasts — Coffee Supreme on the bar, a stacked breakfast bun, cinnamon scrolls from the cabinet, and a glass roof that holds the alpine light.

Marmolada Cafe sits at 43 Camp Street, the Queenstown pickup strip for Milford, Lord of the Rings and day tours. Guests come for Coffee Supreme, a busy cabinet, and a room that stays bright even when it rains or snows.
Inside, olive-tiled counters, rattan pendants and plywood walls sit under black steel and a glass roof. There is plenty of seating — window stools, communal tables, and a bar with a view into the floor below — so groups waiting for a bus can still eat together.
The kitchen cooks a full breakfast list: eggs Benedict, chorizo hash, shakshuka, avocado toast with halloumi, and the breakfast bun guests come back for the next morning. The cabinet turns out cinnamon scrolls, hikers slices and savoury baking. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free plates are on the board; bring your own cup and they take a little off the coffee.
““We loved this place so much we came back again the next day. The breakfast bun was incredible — crispy bacon, perfectly salty hashbrown, runny egg, and dripping in hollandaise. The flat white was equally delicious.””

“We loved this place so much we came back again the next day. The breakfast bun was incredible — crispy bacon, perfectly salty hashbrown, runny egg, and dripping in hollandaise sauce. The flat white was equally delicious. Such a cozy vibey spot with an incredibly kind staff.”
— Morgan T., Google“The quality of everything is noteworthy, they obviously put a lot of pride and effort into each meal and coffee. The breakfast bun burger was absolutely stacked. The oat milk latte was perfect. The venue has a nice glass roof so it would be pretty cool if it’s raining or snowing.”
— Atly guest“I went here with some friends early in the morning, the staff were so friendly and the whole atmosphere was both relaxed and professional. The coffee was top quality and they do filter coffee too. The food was incredible and the cafe accommodates for vegi, vegan and gluten free.”
— Alex H., TripAdvisor“Perfect start to a day touring. This was the pickup for our Lord of the Rings tour. The avocado on toast — poached egg perfectly cooked, a heaping amount of avocado, amazing bread, pickled onions. I want to go back again.”
